The star of the show, of course, is the Hainanese Curry Rice. It’s not just another plate of curry rice; it’s an experience. • Delicious and good portion for the amount paid. Able to choose braised or curry sauce, or both. Service was fast during Sat lunch time. Curry was just nice, not too spicy. Rice is well cooked. Will return in future.

  • Came here based on a colleague’s recommendation, and 2 Thumbs Up Curry Rice definitely lived up to its name. This eatery serves curry rice with a variety of meats, including chicken, pork, fish, and even mutton. I went for the mutton and pork chop combo (Set 12) for $10.90. Ordering is done through a kiosk at the front, similar to McDonald's, which was smooth and efficient. A nice touch is that you can customize your order—adjusting the rice portion, choosing more or less sauce, and even selecting your sauce type (curry, braised, or both). After ordering, you’re given a number and wait for your food, which came out quickly in under 10 minutes. Another cool detail: all utensils are biodegradable and disposable, showing some nice eco-conscious effort. The food itself was solid. The mutton was the highlight—served in tender, flavorful cubes that were well-marinated. The braised cabbage was also really well done, soft and seasoned nicely. The only letdown was the pork chop, which was on the dry and tough side. The restaurant was spacious and clean, and even during peak lunch hours, it wasn’t overly crowded. Tables were well-maintained, making for a comfortable dining experience. Overall, it was a good meal, and I’ll definitely be back for the mutton. 8/10.

  • Authentic Hainanese curry. Well served. Especially the meatball is a must-try. Super crispy and juicy.

  • My wife and I had lunch here recently. We ordered the following here: a Hainanese Pork Chop Meal, and a Braised Pork Belly Meal with a mix of braised and curry sauces, and a braised tau pok add-on. Overall, the food here was very good - flavourful and "comfortingly" satisfying. Service here was good - friendly, courteous and prompt. And the dining ambience here was more than adequate for the eatery's set-up and it was in air-conditioned comfort. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for some very good Hainanese Curry Rice.

  • Value for money. - braised pork belly + fried chicken chop + egg Curry is a bit weak. Today the pork is quite fat. The chicken chop is very crisp and well seasoned. Got Mama's favorite cabbage. All ingredients can add to sides. Will come back to try the mutton curry.

  • For how "fast food" this hainanese curry rice joint looks and feels, they serve a mean bowl. Ordered the curry mutton set and was suprised by the full flavours on offer. The signature sauce mix is strong but not overwhelming. Definitely worth a revisit.
